Total Defense Day

Total defense day is the day that we commemorate the day that british surrender to Japanese to always remind us that we must ourselves defend Singapore , we could not rely on others to protect Singapore .
During the Total defense day , several activities were being do in the school . There was a drill to evacuate the pupils to from the class block to the field . It was to get ready for pupils in case of any fire breakout in the school .
Followed that was the rationing of the bread , it was there to remind us of the olden days that food was not that plentiful when the British surrendered to Japanese . The food tasted bland . After the simple meal of the bread, was the Total Defense Trail. It consist of three major cca , that consist the Red Cross , NPCC and the NCC . It shows us what they do when it's emergency . Therefore , Total defense day is there to serve as a friendly reminder that Singapore have to get ready and prepared in case of any emergency .
